Empi conversion drive flanges and stub axles are are necessary when upgrading your suspension to larger and stronger CV joints. All Empi drive flanges are forged from high strength chromoly steel that is then precision machined and heat treated to handle years of off-road abuse. All flanges and stub axles feature CV bolt holes that are made with 3/8 inch - 24 thread to accommodate the use of heavy-duty bolts. Use these flanges in conjunction with Empi stub axles, heavy duty cages, races, boots and flanges to upgrade an existing suspension to a long travel, high performance system.
Special note: Type-2 Bus CV joint bolt holes must be drilled to 3/8 inch for the HD bolts to fit.
